I love this figure its big and BIG it is. However on my figure one of the spikes did not have a peg on the spike, also the inner mouths are a pain to get in. The figure it self needs to be seen in person because its so detailed and so massive that you would not expect online. The things that it includes are 35 points of articulation, small inner mouth, long inner mouth, a small metal rod and a long metal rod, 6 spikes, and a hive background made of thin cardboard.

I bought this without reading reviews as I've been looking for faithful model for a while and the price was right. I'm both impressed and scratching my head after I set it up. The figure is impressive, big, and weighty. When posed, expect to clear out some space. There are some very fine details to be observed, but the paint job is pretty basic which in my view detracts from an overall nice figure. When checking joints for articulation, some feel decidedly stiff (main hands), while others (legs/Hip Joints) may give the feeling that wear could make them loose if you have ideas of changing up the pose often. Overall though, I am happy with this purchase.The Alien will not stand on its own:It comes with a stand. The base is plastic V. Two metal poles are supplied for varied height poses. There is a plastic U part that attaches to the pole which supports the weight of the figure along its lower abdomen. You can swivel the V base 360 degrees to compensate for weight distribution for most poses. For the most part the stand works as it should. So far so good. Purchased figure about 2-3 weeks ago, the seller could have worked out a better shipping method. For tracking purposes. Other than that. Mine arrived in great condition, no issues no complaints, no warped Lims, everything fits well, definitely not a "cheap knock off". I've never purchased anything other than my car that is so stunning and well articulated, by far my favorite neca product. TOTAL recommend. The creature is absolutely stunning, a great addition for any alien collector. NOT for kids. Great product for a hive/diorama, maybe some minor stop motion.

The sculpt and coloration is amazing, and for a little more than a C-note it's great. I have it in my cube at work, and have gotten lots of compliments on how cool it is. I smile every damn time I look at this thing...it's so cool. It's HUGE too (coke can included for scale). If you *at all* want to buy this, have no fear - it's awesome.The box was damaged when it came to me, but no broken pieces. It's secured pretty well.

I can't help but just look at this thing, it's beautify done and accuracy gets an A++ for me and this thing is huge. It was a piece I was missing from my alien collection for years now I finally have this beauty, there have been other queen figures before but being an accuracy whore they weren't doing it for me. She looks perfect. My ONLY wish is that it would be nice if her crown could look down more because the paint job and sculpting on the crown is gorgeous and I would like her to be standing up right and looking down more to show off that crown. But still great none the less and if you love aliens and love collecting then look no further it's almost mandatory for you to pick her highness up before the price goes up too much, and I promise she'll be your crown jewel in your aliens collection

It took a few years but I have been patiently waiting for this Alien Queen to complete my Aliens collection. I was lucky enough to find this available directly from the manufacturer. On the plus side, it was regular retail price. But I had to pay shipping too. Totally worth it in my opinion. If you seek this figure, keep an eye on this page or big box retailers like Target as these may begin to surface again. Be patient. Don’t pay overly inflated prices. It’s a huge piece that will not easily fit into your display - so plan around it’s size and create a space for it. It’s detail sculpt and moveable appendages are amazing.

This is a huge figure with cool details. My issues however stem from the quality of craftmanship in regards to the pieces that are added on after unboxing. The optional internal mouths do not fit in the hole meant for them at all. The sliding head is very stiff and hard to move. The spines for the back work on ball joints but the holes on the back are not all sized properly so several are very loose and a light knock will dislodge them. While once setup it should remain intact, I will have to further drill out the mouth to hold the add-on inner mouths and carefully add the spines once the figure is posed. Overall, it looks pretty cool but, beware the issues that may arise. At this price point, things should be perfect.

It is a very nice addition to my collection, but...the leg joints are very loose and unstable. Also the spines on her back won’t stay in the sockets and had to be permanently affixed with super glue, since it is a static piece I do not mind at all. For the money I paid it’s kind of a piece of s***.

I've been a huge Aliens fan since I was a child and when my package arrived I was so excited to open it up. After opening it and seeing the Queen in her full glory I was ecstatic, the quality that's been put in to every detail of her is just amazing and I could not possibly be happier with my purchase.

It looks awesome, and I would rate it five stars, if product had not arrived with a broken neck joint. I was able to reattach the decapitated head with Gorilla Glue, and it has remained awesome ever since.

I've eyed this thing for a few years, kept back mainly because of its price but finally pulled the trigger the other day. Worth every penny. I don't feel like writing a long review so I'm not going to. I will say:Pros:BEAUTIFUL pieceGood articulationThis thing is HUGE. Even watching review videos don't give you the full sense of its scale. This thing is like a pet. Many dogs are smaller than her majesty.It is just a joy to look at.Cons:The tines (or spikes if you prefer) on the back often get in the way of her crown and restrict movement of the head. I've decided to not attach them and it's no big deal for me. She still looks great.Mine game with loose hip joints so posing her without a stand is not really an option. I don't mind this much as she's so big and going on a narrow shelf so I've would have used the stand regardless.If you love ALIENS and always wanted a queen to fulfill some part of you life that felt was missing: Buy this ASAP. Stay frosty.

Neca doesn't always hit a home run. The sculpts are always amazing. But sometimes something sneaks into a box that should have been caught by QA. Case in point, I have two predator figures with seized shoulder joints and one alien xeno figure with a case of scoliosis. So it's always a bit of a gamble ordering from them online. At least I've only had three problems with their figures out of about 30. So 1 out of 10. Because of this, I was hesitant to drop this kind of cash on one of their figures. But I'm glad I did.This one is stellar (no pun intended). Flawless everything. All joints are solid. The stand is a little weird, but it works well enough. And my gods... the detail... oh my... the detail is unreal... It's easily the best queen xeno figure I've ever seen. And that includes the resin model kits. I'm not crazy about the tongues (two pegs that sorta snap in place in the mouth, one extended and open and the other closed). But since I tend to keep my other alien xenos tongues in and their teeth closed, this is a really minor thing. The back spines lack any sort of instruction on which way they face. But that just gave me an excuse to rewatch the movie. Again, not a huge issue.All things considered, this is everything I had hoped it would be. I even get compliments from people that aren't fans of the franchise. It's that good.

Alien Black Queen is beautiful; great articulation, and fierce, BUT, her head and head mask were at the bottom of her plastic container when she arrived, much to the disappointment of my grandson. She was the Grand Prize Birthday President but was be-headed before she got her. Amazon has been great in getting in touch the seller, who I heard from in a couple of days. They requested a picture, which has been sent, and we are waiting for the news that another Queen is on the way, at which time we will return the evidently deposed Queen.

I love the figure a ton but I have two design nitpicks with it. The jaw that extends out doesn't snap into place and stay put, and neither do the spine appendages. I needs to use a bit of mounting putty to assemble the figure, which is a problem that can be fixed by the company.

To begin with, the sculpt is amazing! And this @#$%^ is huge. On the shelf with the other Alien figures from NECA that I have, she looks incredible. Her articulation was very well executed. And the paint aps are spot on. I especially like the rods included to keep her upright. The one things I do not like is the inner jaw (tongue) is difficult to place and mine actually does not fit in the hole made for it. I had to use the putty for hanging posters to get it to stay in place. Otherwise, 9.5 out of 10.

Sigh.... a continuation of my love/hate relationship with NECA. I love NECA figures for the fantastic details, accuracy and just plain "coolness" of the sculpts for their various products. This figure succeeds in all of those aspects as usual. This alien queen simply looks wonderful! Then on the other hand, I hate NECA figures for the usual problems that plague most of the figures...frozen joints or joints that are too loose or joints that are already broken before you even open the package or joints that break with the slightest pressure or limbs (arms, legs) that are warped which make it difficult or impossible to stand or pose the figure....I could go on, but you get the idea and if you are familiar with NECA, you know what I am talking about. Still, the figures just look so awesome, I keep buying them...thus my love/hate relationship. As for this queen, the one I got was not bad at all. I was very surprised by this. Almost all of her joints work very well...not frozen or too tight. The only stiff joint was the neck...mine has limited movement compared to what I have seen in a video review of this figure and I am not going to try and force the full range for fear of it breaking. I can live with it as it is. The stand provided is great. It supports the weight of this figure in 2 possible positions, bent over or rearing up. Either way looks great. My only real complaint with this figure is the inner jaws. The extended version of the inner jaw looks great. The retracted version looks like Ripley kicked the queen's teeth in, the jaw is crooked and missing a tooth (yes I am that detail oriented...which is part of the fascination of these figures). AND both inner jaw pieces CANNOT be put into the mouth. They are designed to fit only one way as the pegs on the end have a notch on them that fits into the socket a certain way. They simply will not insert into the socket and stay in place. So this beautiful queen is displayed with her mouth shut.

Instead of metal rods( which I see were done for sturdiness), articulated possible stands like tamashi nation stands would've been better. The inter changeable mouth pieces are fine. If only if neca included an egg or two with this queen.Price( is it worth it?) : 4.5/5- for $99.99, it is good deal, but $85 seems about better.
